Just make sure the VFG rods are long enough for what you need

Have used the VFG rod system& felts for a while with no problems tho if you use the Blue bore paist to clean barrel first dont go mad with it, i"m told it has slight abrasive property to clean out all the crap.

Just a little warning about barrel cleaning.

I've had a Steyr LG100 (barley twist) rifle for around 5 years but the rifle is much older than that. I used to VFG once every month and used a pull through after every shoot. Last year i was having problems with , what i thought, were bad pellet batches.but it turned out to be damage to the barrel crown. Barry Taylor recrowned it for me and now it's back to being non pellet fussy. I was always careful when using the VFG kit and with the pull through. Also ......maybe shooting at least one tin of pellets a week through it might have contributed.
