Here's an update on problem, fitted scope back on with 3 small bits of 35mm film fitted on front mount as suggested by Rob with elevation turret centered, set up backstop at 20yrds, fired test shot and held my breath, yippeeeee 3mm to left and 4mm high, thought might have just been a lucky shot so fired 3 more, pellet on pellet, so problem solved, now just a bit of fine tuning to do, many thanks lads for the help
