Default Chrono at Worlds

hi all,
as all of us my gun was tested at the worlds , its a Steyr LG110
it said 10.6 fpe , now at home I put 10 pellets through the chrono and it gives 10.95
it was consistent between 239 and 241 meters per second with JSB Express
temperature was as cold as in Kelmarsh , the gun was outside for a long time
I heard more people say there gun was tested a bit low
anyone that can explain this ?
I'll give my gun a bit more so it will shoot 11.5 , around 247 m/s

My Walther went over at 785 which is 11.5 and tallies with every test I've done using the Combro.

Pawel's Steyr went over at 680ish though, which may have been a surprise for him!

My Walther was within 5fps of what I saw before the weekend at room temp so no noticable shift from either Kelmarsh chrono or lower temp.....

My Walther went through my combro at 780fps on the Saturday at Kibworth and 778fps on the Sunday. I try to leave my gun out in the open for about half hour before going through the chrono so it's tested in the conditions I'm shooting in.

Kelmarsh was ok for me, but on the wider issue of chrono consistency, it's a can of worms. I've put the same rifle over 4 chronos (two being the same type) within a day or two of each other and got different results.

Does anyone know if there is a standard against which chronos can be tested for accuracy?

Both mine and alex Larkins Steyr's went through 40 fps lower than they should have.

I have experienced low readings from this chrono at uk rounds but on sunday mine read exactly as is does all the time, 784 fps.
