Default Hello from Kentucky, USA

Hey all. My name is Tyler and I discovered FT this past summer. Began shooting with an FAC BSA R10 .22 (Not even close to an FT rig) up at BAGA FT club in Wisconsin. I am currently finishing up college in Kentucky so I shoot down in Tennessee (some of you may have been for the 2007 worlds) with the GOB club.

Right now I am running a Steyr LG110 ZM (Zasadny Modified) with a BSA Platinum at 17 FPE but don't worry I have a WFTF class gun in the works. Allen Zasadny is currently working on modifiying an Air Arms SM100 (Almost older then I am) set up for 12 FPE with the olympic trigger and Korick reg for me and I am very excited to try my hand at WFTF. I'm rather new to FT but I definitely have caught the bug and really enjoy it.

Hope to meet many of you one day at a future worlds competition, but I suppose that is a bit far off.

Looking forward to reading and learning as much as I can

Learn to shoot well with a 12ft/lb AirArms 100 series and you will do even better if you then switch to a more modern gun, such as the new Air Arms ft rifle which is due for launch in the coming weeks.

That is kind of the idea Simon. Not sure if it's a good thing or bad thing that here in the US we are allowed to use up to 20 FPE in our "open" class. Certainly an easier way to get into it. I have not seen anything on the new Air Arms rifle yet, I'm sure it will be good. I have been thinking lately about an EV2. They just got a special edition stock style in here in the States. Looks to be the last of them as well. Is there a lot of info about the new AA FT rifle out yet? I hear it was called the FTP900 or something like that?
