Default Walnut oil on stocks.

I recently read somewhere, probably the 'other place', that walnut oil is suitable for use on stocks. Picked up a bottle in Sainsburys this arvo for just over a quid. So far I've applied a couple of coats and it's looking pretty good. Not sure if it will buff up to a shine, but I prefer the satin sheen anyway. I had been using beeswax furniture polish, which looked quite nice but discoloured when it got wet. The walnut oil seems to soak through without any problem, and should be more weather proof.

Officially chuffed
