Default Original 75

I would like to say a big thank you to Tom (RancidTom) for stripping, servicing and rebuilding my Original 75. Had a go with it on Sunday and it was, as you might expect, one holing at 25yds with a scope on. Now I've just got to get used to using aperture sights again and have a go at 10m targets.

Tom is a very knowledgeable top fella and a nice guy to boot. Always a pleasure to have him at our club.

I'm glad you like it Rod.
They are the worlds most complicated spring rifle and a difficult but rewarding job to get right, but when they are right they're one of the most lovely guns to shoot. For all them having 2 pistons, timing gears, shims, 3 springs and a very expensive seal set I still love them. My Black Forest cuckoo clock will never be sold!
Get the diopters out and get some holes cut in some card at 10m. They take more skill (steadier hold) than SSP and PCP's with shorter lock times but it always gives me a grin when I manage a better score than the expensive guns
