Default LG100 - 10m to 12fpe conversion - worth it?

Given all the different options these days from Steyr's own offerings, EV2's, Walthers etc - is this conversion worth it any more? Any good things about the older LG100's? I found a gentleman with a couple for sale - they are 10m guns and have the 'barley twist' barrel.

With the conversion costs, what's the most you'd pay for an LG100 10m? Or would you pass it by and go with something else?

I have to admit I have a soft spot for these particular ones since the woodwork is the same as my high school colors :-)
