Dave the real best way is to get your man /woman to whome you have sold it is to meet someone at a shoot IE a GP saves loads of hassle and money. I have collected dropped off quite a few.

If you can't meet ftf then the only choice is Royal Mail if you want it to be insured. All the couriers I've tried will not carry air guns if you tell them it's an airgun. No one will carry air guns, including Royal Mail, if sending abroad. Had a gun stock returned when I tried to send to Spain through Parcel Force because it was classed as part of a firearm.

I've used DHL the last few times i've posted my gun...with no issues at all.
