My in is zeroed at all distances from 8 to 55 yrds.

I think optimum zero is where the scope is optically centred and on your zero, which for many is a point in the trajectory where all other ranges are dialled upwards.

depends. one of my mk has a no 27 ret so i have well spaced mill dots below cross hair so i can use thos with turret set on 0, the mk4 i am using ( my 9no1 luep) does not so i just dail past 0 and up into the danger zone!

Default Zero ranges

Amazing the different ideas we have with regard zeroing, both myTX200 and STEYR LG100 have scope to barrel centerlines of 55mm, both are fitted with 10x50x60 big nikkos and both zeroed at 20yds, all ranges are upward clicks. It works fine for me
