Default Walnut v Laminate

Hi guys, I know laminate is heavier than walnut .. But how much heavier ? Just a little or Alot ?
I'm not talking about a large stock, something about the daystate mk4 size .. Would there be a great difference in weight ?

It's not quite twice as heavy but it's considerably heavier
