Default Kingsley HFT (Staffordshire) Sun 2nd Oct [Scores]

Dave Brayford felt the pressure , needing his last target to maintain his 1 point lead , especially as it was Shirley Brayford who was right behind him ... He made it , finishing top of the pack on 57 , Shirley on 56 ...
Dave declared " The B***H is back " and vowed that she can now wash , weigh , and lube her own pellets from now on as she was far too close for comfort ... I'd like to thank my shooting partner for today , Graham , who got absolutely soaked Saturday at F/M , and still made the effort to travel up to sunny Stoke ... Thank you to all that attended today , atmosphere was brill as per usual ...Hope to see you all next time , on Sun 23rd Oct .. Scores as follows ....

Dave Brayford 57
Shirley Brayford 56
Simon Toolan 53
Graham Cole 53
Steve Brindley 53
Ian Millward 52
Ian Skeldon 52
Mick Fern 50
Tim Quick 50
Simon Howarth 50 ( .22 )
Rob Mansell 50
Jon Pritchard 49
Bert Tate 45
Rob Shepperson 41
Mike Everson 40
Sophie Steele Quick 35

Thank you all once again , see you on the 23rd

Cheers
Ian

Thanks for the course today Ian & thanks to Steve B for the company also.
Scrubbed & honed the Walthers barrel tonight after all them flyers. It was ditched! Will hopefully get to try it one night this week & it's sorted it.....? If it isn't then it's probably "eaten" some rain & crud from the Furnace Mill 90 shoter the day before & needs surgery?
I also need to go to spec savers as I've shot 3 wrong targets this weekend!

Thanks for a lovely day at Kingsley again! Seemed an awful lot of very long 25mm's today! Making the scores of Dave and Shirl even more impressive! I am sure you not allowed that many?! I am going have to call the whole course!!
I have pulled the gun apart today as I had a few unexplainable shots in the last 2 shoots and several on Sunday! I found a broken o ring at the back of the hammer housing that i put there to prevent water ingress, one end of it was sometimes getting trapped between the coils of the hammer spring. I could feel a difference in how it cocked sometimes. That would explain the odd shots!!

Hopefully back on full form again!

Had a great day, sadly not a great score but hey ho. Thanks to Simon Toolan for a bit of banter and good company, thanks also to Simon (Tench) for some very useful tips.
