Default What a week-end in SCOTLAND

Just got back from a trip to the Lake-District with the good lady.
Dropped her off Saturday night at the neices place ,up at 4-30 Sunday morning and up the M74 to Edinburgh for the HFT shoot at Juniper Green
Well I have to say what a welcome from all the lads I have met over the past 4 years while shooting in the UKAHFT and the WORLDS it was a days shooting which I will remember for along time to come .
The UKAHFT I can say is as strong up in Scotland as anywhere in the British Isles ,rules and regs as we all know it ,well done to you all .
It was a great shoot ,2 times 30 shot courses in different parts of their woods ,plenty of the right banter and even a ENGLISH target with a 15mm kill unlike the SCOTISH target with a 45mm kill ,just trying to get the shooters that missed to hate THEM BLOODY ENGLISH.
I missed Sean and his Dad which was a bit of a bummer as their car broke down on the way to the shoot and I also must report to them the banter on the team scores was just not on as every-one said they were very dissapointed that you never made it [if you believe that you;ll beleive anything ]
To Naverone and Nick who I shot with thanks we must do it again sometime
To all the Scotish lads thanks for the day it was great and yes we will be coming up in force in the earley part of 2011 .
All the best
Ian from MAD
