Had the S3 LR for a year, great scope, ranges perfectly, very docile temperature wise, good optics, only vice is you will get white-out if you point anywhere near the Sun without sunshades on. Focuses to infinity, comes down to 13yds.
The FT version is exactly the same except top end focus is about 57--60yds on older one and 75yds on newer ones. Bottom end is 10yds.
Apart form that they're identical.
I had the LR as the FT version hadn't been released, but even so I probably would have still gone LR as I wanted the option to use on my full-bore rifles and on x10 mag I could see 10 yd targets perfectly....

I have the LRIRMH I love the lines and its spot on in most conditions be it light or dark, the shade is as heavy as the scope so get Mick T to make you one. I wouldn't change it for much it would have to be something special.

Thank you for your comments. I've been in contact with Jon at aim field sports today, (WHAT A TOP BLOKE). Sorted me out with a LRIRMOA at a good price. Also grabbed a cam wheel off Johno at AJP (another top bloke). Thank you again.
Hopefully be nearer the middle now.
