We use laminated scorecards and waterproof pens, that works fine if you just wipe off the water before writing.
Advantage is that they can be reused again after cleaning.

Rob

In the CSFTA winter league we have score cards printed up on waterproof paper for the wet days.

CD cases work fine as long as you use them properly. Most people stand with them open and let the cards get wet.

Only open the case when shooter has shot the lane and keep as covered as possible while entering data then close quickly.

Quite often carry out trials in factories with very wet (spray) environments - writing on photographic paper seems to work OK - but costs more. Providing everyone is honest, I guess the "cards" used by divers would be the best option.

So that's why we have dive cylinders

A clay pigeon ground I used to shoot at had waterproof score cards which was easier to mark with a pencil, it was like this stuff http://toughprint.com/
