Default How often do you shoot

Have a question how often do you have to shoot to keep your current level of preformance and how long not shooting before you slipped back.
Cheers Don

I think i am at the level i am at and that's it.
I also think the more i practice the worse i get at times !!
Plus a migraine and thoughts of why do i bother
I wouldn't say practice helps me anymore, there are just days i seem to do better than others.

I shoot in my backyard range every chance I get. I was shooting 15 to 20 thousand pellets a year with my TX200, but this year I cut down to less than 5,000. My scores went down as well. I've just started back to try and get my old form and it's not that easy. I am seeing improvement and the more I can shoot the better I seem to be. I used to shoot nice groups at 55 yards regularly, but until very recently, I have been total rubbish. I've managed several 1/2" 5 shot groups in the last few weeks, so I'm on the way back.

every day.....dubbed as anal al at the range.......the more I practice the luckier I get

I have in 1 year moved my status from hopeless to hopefull.

chucking lead down the range is very therapeutic.

other interests include frog platting and shouting at television.

When ever work allows, normaly once a week but prefer twice when I can. Shooting at purley on a sunday is like a competition, so its much better practice.
