Default Falcon moderator

The moderator on my falcon fn19 makes the gun look very long. I've been looking around for one of the original qf mods, but falling on stoney ground. Adaptors are hard to come by as it's a silly size. The current mod has been altered to fit (not very well). I'm considering a muzzle brake or air stripper, but the barrel is a siily size. 10.2mm. Any ideas lads?

You can get an adaptor from
Other than that you're probably going to have to have something custom made or altered which will cost or the barrel reduced to 10mm which would open up loads of Air Arms add ons.

I can machine something up for you, or bore out the end on an S400 mod from 10 to 10.2mm. Or even make you custom one to your design.

Cheers Tench. I've got a 10mm adaptor which I'm going to try to ream out to the desired 10.2. The problem is that the end of the barrel is so short (up to the barrel band) that the grub screws wont fasten on to anything! That means shortening the adaptor to allow the grub screws to bite. Then the threads will be so close to the filler (it's a qf type), that a silencer wouldn't screw right on. The other option would be to remove the barrel band and fit an 11.5mm adaptor to the main barrel and hope that the threads on the adaptor protrude far enough to screw a silencer on. That's surmising that such a thin barrel would stand being free floated? I may get back to you after I've exhausted these possibilities. Thanks a lot mate.
