The higher the scope from the centre of the barrel will flatten the trajectory or the clicks you have to dial at longer distances. As there is no dialing for distances in HFT, this would be a advantage IMO. Some FT shooters have the scope 3 or sometimes 4 inches above the barrel. As has been said, it can play havoc with short range targets. Your set up seems fine to me, just have a go and see where you are with it, you could always change to the lower mounts that have been offered if it doesn't work out. Neil.
