Cardiff was home for them until '56, then they hopped a boat to NZ with 2 kids and 100 pounds.

I have cousins all over the place from North of the Scots border, thru the midlands, Cardiff, Swansea and London.

There's a statue of a distant relative in Bristol somewhere, Edward Colston. Not direct lineage, more an Uncle on my Father's side. Didn't get to see Bristol last visit in "98.

I did get to see a lot of South Wales last visit, and loved it. Visited all the places My Mother told me about from her youth. Caerphilly Castle, Cardiff Castle, Roath Park lake, The Mumbles, plot/ homes, and I vowed after that experience if there was any other place on earth I could live, Wales was it!
