It's supposed to be a regional competition where the region helps out...
I'm the same as yourself as I like the lads in nelson to set out the course as we're close to the ground.
The weather hasn't helped with your mood on this which is understandable but there are people who are willing to help out. Remember a few years ago when you put the first recent GP at tondu... I thinki travelled down 4 or 5 times at 70 mile round trip a time. I didn't whine about the travelling to help tondu out....!!
It's the one main comp in Wales so I have no problem the money going to wafta as it pays for trophies etc...
talking to other regions berty most host clubs keep the money and do the work.
I dont think wafta needs the Gp money but thats a proposal for the Agm in January
Might be calling on you to work Saturday if we cant clear the 25 lanes over the next two days. it really did **** me off seeing how much everything has grown again in the last week and the ponds in flood!
summer my arse.
Hopefully its not as bad as it looked. See what happens thursday, we should have 6 - 10 bodies at work Thursday so hopefully we can sort the lanes out in one day.
and to top it off we were fly tipped this week, first time in 20+ years at the ground. thankfully it was in the woods which is not being used as part of the course.
