Gonna nit pick now, how many times have you been through the bfta chrono and all the shooters in your group said it has read correct? My 77 very rarely registered a reading on the chrono, the Ripley I use has registered once at a fairly close reading to what it is set at. I do agree it is not perfect though.
Matt , cast your memory back a bit and you will recall that the chrono is supposed to have a sheet of paper / cardboard over the front and back of it to stop dodgy rays getting in , have you seen that done lately ? at least it has made shooters aware of power and every time the chrono has worked . IE when somebody has not shot it . my rifle has gone through at near as damm it the speed of out club chrono , which is the same as the BFTA one . ??? HOLLY
