Can anyone give an advice about how to make it EITHER easier to turn (can the turret mechanism be loosened/oiled?); OR is it possible to make the clicks more pronounced, so you know exactly how much you're winding on?
Mechanically centre the windage turret and try the elevation again. I seem to remember the older big nikko's suffering from a problem with the elevation if the windage was wound too far to one side. It jammed the elevation.
