So, using an adapted position gives an advantage to the shooter by that post. I.e. if using the adapted position, the scoring rate increases by even 30% as you mentioned, then it gives the shooter an advantage over their normal standers. As the rest of those shooting need to stand as per the lane designation, it could be argued as to being unfair to others. This would then make the use of adapted positions against BFTA's own rules
