It depends on what set up your looking for.

You have a Ft rig in ev2 and big nikko

As such i would say go for double strap bkl and bkl riser blocks. you will need some clearence between the barrel and scope, probably looking for aroundf 60mm centre of barrel to centre of scope. think mine is 64?
You can as i did always sell on the riser blocks and go for a Knobman(Johna) rail which and most importantly, looks great, as well as doing a good job.

that should give you a fairly good strting point to set up you rig for most Ft courses as a new shooter.
Indeed, we were setting up a ev2 + big nikko rig at tondu yesterday.

If you only ever do Wafta Ft shoots you will find generall ranges are a bit shorter than Go shooting so it will suit.
Some gp shooters as can bee seen from photos have lifted their scopes further to flatten out the longer shots that prevail in Gp events. but you then run the risk of going a turn out more often until use to the set up, not in my opionion the way to start your Ft shooting.
