It saves 1 target being idle 50% of the time when a shooter is sat on lane.
Not a bad idea, but suspect as Conor says the time getting up and down and faffing is what is burning up the time. And it also means more room is required.
WHFTA are running single lanes with 300 shooters, but in 2 sessions on 30 lanes this year so it will be interesting to see what the session times run to. Trouble is the WFTF allow 3 mins per lane
