DA during a competition?
Interesting thread and I would have loved to know what the DA was a couple of years back when the CSFTA round was up at North Oxon with -7C (I gave everything +5yds after a while but compensating for shivering was not so easy!).
So lots of people have temperature strips, windicators, etc but can the Kestrel be used once you start the course? Did shooters use them at the Worlds? Obviously you shouldn't use the wind speed part.
It would make for a useful feature on an FT course if there was a temp/humidity/DA board displayed and updated by a volunteer visible around the course - and Simon could photograph all the puzzled faces. :-)
