we do advise for nationals that its only a 40mm that can be obscured rather than a 35 mm & 10mm is the min.
You could do a half moon if you wished all is needed is some metal over the kill.
To answer others on here i think i have said it before if you half obsure a 40mm at 45 yards you still have 40mm showing whether it be top to bottom or side to side so that would be different to having a 25mm at 45 yards.
In life you should not persue goals that are easily achieved, develop an instinct for what can be only just achieved through your greatest efforts.
