As an "older" newbie to FT, just a couple of observations.
In all the sports I have been associated with over the last 45years, any truly disabled competitors I have come across have fiercely striven to avoid any semblance of advantage taking when using modifications to standard rules when competing with able bodied.
If the adapted standing position were to be used for all normal discipline standers and kneelers it would appear to me to be a distinct disadvantage if positioned on sloping ground when feet are higher than rear end.
All the adapted positions are illustrated on level ground, which I am assuming is not necessarily the norm.
