interesting day at millride.
Zero range showed no problems despite cold conditions.
So, off on the main and kneelers lane 1. Hit the pair
had a wobble then lane two on the long 52.5 ish one.
Have put on loads of weight, might have said that recenlty and its causing problems again so must loose weight.
There was a whispery wind for for the first 20 or so targets in the woods but i did not come more than edge of kill and hit all the ones in the woods, happy days.
Good pair of standers, 35 and 18. took the first one despite fingers being cold and not much feel on the trigger, good Job the REV
has a sweet trigger
The pressure on the second 18m one though lol.
Out in the field though and it was downhill.
Wobbled on the first one, 37m ish, bugger.
did not give the second one 45m enough. missed two others in the field, not giving enough wind. Indeed, it was only the last target in the field, 47m that i used first dot, for the first time. Down it went.
Missed that reducer up in the tree, not far, 27m i think, but went 9 edge and it struck well past 2 oclock.
Hit the last four which were all in good wind, again on first dot.
so, poor score really of 24?
Perhaps not. Two woblles, probably would have got the one in the wood and at least if i had seen the miss on the field wobble i would have been more clued up for the other field misses.
of the other misses, just not being brave enough with Rs / Falcon.
Its either cross hair in kill or straight on first dot!
Used lubed pellets today. could not tell difference though!
Nelson next sunday, then Sywell all being well.
Might well set Priest
up with express this week though
and as pointed out by comp sec, over 1000 miles of road for ft in three days. thank god arms dealer was driving today.
