Disability inclusion is a complex subject and to apply it successfully requires a bit more knowledge than most coaches or volunteer shooting administrators possess. The NSRA has been steadily working on the the Disabled Shooting Project (DSP) and has recently obtained Sport UK funding for a coordinator for it. This could be a possible source of advice, in framing a suitable set of rules for the future. Another source of advice and training is the county sports partnerships. They regularly run courses relevant to disabled sport and I would recommend anyone who may be involved in making decisions on disabled inclusion attend one. They are usually held in the evening, are of 2-3 hours duration and cost iro £25.00. These courses are not "PC" they are practical and thought provoking.
