Godbye Njr ?
Well not really. NJR has had the Hawke on it for a few months now and feels right in that set up.
Today, with the Luep back on it it felt small.
Anothe rGary cane stock needed?
But then its not my old Njr?
Anyway, tried the Irish RS in it. out to 40m yards it was pellet on pellet.
50m and it was mystery tour?
So, i think its Hawke back on and any old falcon / Rs in there for hft?
So, onto EvRs lubrication?
Damp and cold down Tondu today. not a great deal of wind, but the odd breeze now and again to spoil things at 50m!
Clean barrel and did a set of groups at 50m with weighed sized 4.52 Falcon. Some good results, happy generally apart from when invisable wind sent the pellet awol!
After about 60 shots switched to weighed 4.52 sized Falcon, lubed.
2 drops for 150 pellets. Dont think thats over lubing, hope it was enough?
Results were no different really, although at times it seemed as if 50m groups were spreading!.
Saying that40m was almost one hole at times so perhaps was a little tighter
So, think another trest session is needed , but this time all lubed?
Then see how dirty barrel is after 150 lubed pellets.
if sod all else in accuracy / tight groups, if it keeps the barrel cleaner longer thats something.
