For those that weigh pellets, what sort of tolerances do you stick too?
ie. if using 8.44, do you only keep say 8.0 -8.8
Its one of the things that puts me off using Exacts, though apparently the new batches in the new design tins are far better in weight variance than previous years. The last exact tin i weighed had from 7.9 - 9.1 in a tin!
I dont weigh generally these day as my Express 7.9 were on the whole 7.8 -8.0. Most around 7.9.
having weighed a couple of tins of Falcon yesterday most were 7.3 with a few 7.2, probably about 30 from 1000. A few more 7.4g, say 80 from 1000.
i have sized the 7.4 and will be testing them all at 55 yards to see if they are dropping any more than the 7.3. i dont really expect them too?
So, how far off the given weight for a pellet is still ok to use?
