I have had a bad back most of my life and sympathise with anyone who has a disability and certainly don't want to discourage or sideline ANYONE. Our sport needs more competitors, not less!

It seems to me that most of the reasons people are using the alternative positions is because of knee problems. And that does make sense because if you can walk over (sometimes rough) ground while carrying a gun, then there can't be much stopping you shooting the standers? (Sorry to anyone who genuinely can't, but they seem to be in a very small minority and may be able to ease the pain with a shooting seat or sling?)
So, unless I'm way off? Couldn't the alternate kneeling position just be standing?
