Hi Ray, to be perfectly honest I wouldn't have changed the GP if it was lighter! I'm now at the point with my shooting where I need the points from standing shots. I've got reasonably proficient with sitting and kneeling shots but my standers where pathetic! The GP at 15 pounds all up is just too heavy for me to hold and if I didn't get the shot off in the first 10secs I may as well just shoot into the ground? The Steyr at 12 pounds all up is a lot more manageable, time will tell. I loved the Daystate and didn't think I would ever part with it, as you know I had "the one that worked" BAR offered me a good deal in PX for the Steyr so she had to go (SWMBO was adamant I was only having one FT gun!)
