That would suggest some other measurement is incorrect or maybe the rifle isn't grouping as well as it should which makes it difficult to zero with absolute accuracy and likewise to then precisely see what's happening at 10 yards?

Many people use Chairgun and it is very accurate but unfortunately the data entered is critical
