Default FT or HFT which is bigger

In a rescent post about FT coverage, Mr Hotshot, mentioned that the magazines cover HFT and benchrest and that he considers these sports to be more obscure forms of Airgun shooting.

This got me thinking, Is FT still the most dominant form of Airgun competition? When you look at the scores for the GP's and the UKAHFT the GP's have had approxomatly 260 different shooters and the UKAHFT have had about 250.

When you look at the results board on STB, HFT comps outnumber FT by about 4 to 1 and when you look at the attendances, HFT shoots have slightly moor competitiors.

Now, this is not a "Lets have a go at FT thread" and if it turns into a slanging match I will delete it. I think HFT and FT are both very valid, however, by looking at the numbers. I realy do think that HFT is now the more dominant competition sport. I may be wrong and if I am I will be more then willing to put my hands up to it.

What do you guys think?

Somehow I made TEAM ENGLAND 2012 and 2013
