The social side of HFT is fantastic, however, I am not going to drive a 500 mile round trip just for the hell of it and to have a nice chat with me mates.
I am going there to win or at least do the very best that I can do. I realised at the end of last year that I was OK at HFT. This is why I decided to change my kit and really start to practice hard. I am currently shooting 3 tins of pellets a week and luckily it is starting to work.
I still have fun, but for me the social side is not enough anymore and being OK will never win you a UKAHFT championship.
