IMHO as long as the face plate is painted a bright colour, for target acquisition, i dont think it matter much since they get shot up and thats when it can be a struggle to find kill zone, but i only find this to be a problem at very close range (due to blur) or if the target its placed in a dark place, sometimes even if not shot up it can be hard to see the kill zone in dark hidyholes (all though that may be down to my scope)

With regards to the last two UK rounds i dont recall haveing any problems with targets in dark or close one's that have been shot up too badly were the blur make's it hard for me to see the kill.
