Maybe not this season, but next year the new model of the Daystate Grand Prix might possibly have a load cell built into the breech. That would mean you could load your pellet pouch with any old pellets that came to hand, the gun will detect the weight and adjust the firing valve opening to suit.

Then there will be a bluetooth link between the rifle circuitry and the new S&B top turret, adjusting the pre-set look-up table that sets the crosshairs after the autofocus has determined the range.

It's a bu99er if the pellet's bent, though.
