I would have loved to have shot the "Worlds".
Not that I would have been any good, but just to have taken part. Unfortunately circumstances say I can't stay overnight and to travel both days was too much to be considered.
I did however enjoy reading about it and was very interested in the odd progress report and the final scores. I would like to comment that to set two courses, with restrictions placed by the owners of the venue, can only be a daunting task . Given that there was only a couple of days allowed to set these courses says a volume about the people who did it. I know that setting up for a National I started two weeks before the event and then worried like mad that it may not have been good enough.
We have a unique event and should be proud that we have done it. All praise to the organisers.
I just hope that one day I can take part as long as the joints last and the eyesight doesn't fail
