Its a Good point Steve, your not allowed to alter settings when on the course so a chrono check could well be seen to be giving an advantage.
As it happens, I dont think Andreas trying to gain an advantage but if one can do it, we all can do it?
I went on the chrono sat morning and first shot was 819, about 10fps higher than where John set it. Now, I should have said thats fine, legal bfta is 821 and set off.
But i faffed about and eventually turned down to 813. cant say it effected settings (which were out anyway
) but it put dought in my usually empty head.
John Harris also had a reading higher than he said is gun is set for, shoved his bean bag ontop of the chrono to sheild from the bright diffused light of the white tent and his reading dropped by about 10 fps i think.
Thus, if it passes I am off, and my bag goes on top of the chrono next time.
