Personally, i think it would be more interesting to "invest" in shooters, be it yourself, or someone else. So you take in x amount of money, and then assign shooters a share of that depending on their final position, then those who gave x for that shooter, get that proportion back. A bit like the stock market.
So that means someone who is anywhere in a grade could make money off of anyone else, and if people want to make money themselves, they stick their own in. Cos otherwise I can only see that it benefits the top 10 perhaps, and unless you're likely to be in the top 5, your looking like you lose (unless i've misunderstood). An lets face it, getting up 5 places at the top of any grade isn't something you can just switch on.
