Found where my local club is - and when they meet.
I already own a stout pair of boots, outdoor jacket and trousers, and the - apparently mandatory - silly hat.
Is there anything else I should do or get before I go along?
Sling? Cushion? Karrimat? - Insurance? - Membership of some governing body? - L plates?
For Ft a large cushion type seat is best.

Above all else, go along and enjoy. admire the very expensive guns + scopes, but dont be put off.
We get new shooters come to us and instantly think they "have" to have the expensive kit. I usually try and disprove this by taking their gun and hitting the same stuff i am with my gun.
