Interesting perspective. I'm far less certain that there is any great deal of skill involved in range finding after you have learnt the scope and that's often more a case of time which equates to effort but not so much skill.
All i can say is try working on 60 or 80x and see where the problems are. That's why when i made comment on these scopes I said they aren't for everyone, ie for anyone to pick up and think the work and effort/skill required to rangefind is over just because you've shelled out.
