We had mk1 and mk3 Big Nikko. I've made a lot of temp shift tests with my S&B and made with these scopes too. The results, which means the rangefinding error on a 50 m target on 10°C temp difference:
- mk1 0.5 m
- mk3 2.5 m
(S&B 4.2 m)
With my Mk2 found I was under-ranging 2 yards over 45 yards between 0c and -10c, allow a yard below 45 yards.
0c-10c give everything over 35 yards an extra yard.
Scope was calibrated in 15c spring conditions.
