Well, upon returning to Ft I was told the Gp series is not a competition for all, but for the best of the best (in the UK). Now its taken me 4 years to get to AA standard (?) and I have to say I think the learning curve (low scores) has been worth it.
So yes Steve, for me in Gp which is national level, I would push 15 ml kills out to 30 yards, however I said I would be looking for sheltered lanes at the max range.
Only talking 1 of the 2 targets on the course at 25-30, the other i would look at 8 -25?
Regional shoots no, if there are going to be 15 ml kills and I guess so, then the ranges would be 8 -20 yards.
As it happens, we only shoot the course at tondu 2 or 3 times a year. The wind at gp 3 was extremley unusuall. I did however take on board what you said about the Standers on the banks.
all very good, looking forward to the changes for 2011. I think the rule change to a course now "must" have 6 kneeler and 4 standers is the wrong option however. Standers are usually the sorters in a comp.
