It was my first BFTA meeting, and as I said to Berty in a PM, and at the risk of embarrasing the tender little flower, I'm happy to repeat it here.
I was very impressed that he took the time to turn up and, as an AA grade shooter who shoots all the major competitions, he put forward proposals that made perfect sense and reflect the changes that are being seen on the international FT circuit. This can only help to keep the GP's relevant and ensure our lads are best prepared to take on the rest of the world.
I was also impressed by his desire to see a junior trophy and a team competition that will make the GP's more interesting for a lot more people.
As he said, the BFTA committee will listen to all proposals, so if you've got an idea, let your regional rep know and make sure he brings it up at the next meeting.
