Myself, I use mildots or in my case hash marks as windage calculators.

Having practised in as many different wind conditions and speeds as possible
(I try not to miss the opportunity of practising in extreme wind conditions)
I am slowly building up a knowledge of aim points for various wind speeds and directions to POF.
There is nothing impossible to those who will try!
