Well, I take part in postal indoor comps and that works very well so I can see that this could too. The concern I was trying to express was that the competition ought to test the person's skill, not their luck with the wind......... It would be nigh impossible to compare two cards in a postal comp when one was shot in almost still conditions and the other had a squally force four running.

Maybe we would shoot each round only in wind speeds up to say force 3? Each competitor could mark the wind speed (read from an agreed anemometer) on the card? Tie break situation, benefit given to the card shot in the windier condition.
