The only problem I've found shooting this little 2-7 Hawke is the rear eyepiece.
So that I can see the ret I have to have the eye piece screwed right out. I used it for the first time at the Worlds. On the second day I suddenly noticed that I couldn't see the ret. Couldn't understand why at first, then I noticed that the rear eye piece had rotated in probably half the distance.
There is no locking ring like on other scopes so the vibrations of the springer was turning it back in. It would have taken two seconds to have tweaked it back but no touching scopes blah de blah ... suppose I could have explained to a marshall.
Anyway ... easily fixed ... bit of tape.
