It is more simple to stick to 50mag and I like simplicity, which is why I use mildots, but while I was shooting my local course (standing only) I realised I was hitting more long ones than short ones!? and it was due to the high mag. So I turned the mag down to 25 and started hitting far more.
S&B obviously make very good scopes but when they turn out a so-called FT scope with no sun shade, no large side wheel, and an optional spirirt level priced at 170!!!! I can't help thinking "no thanks" and they also haven't cured the temp/ranging problems.
